Williams
Chairman
Des Williams has
been Chairman since 2005 and is an active member and former head of the
Litigation department. Named as a leading lawyer by a variety of
international rankings, Des is a director of the Arbitration Foundation
of Southern Africa and an active member of the International Bar

Pierre le Roux became Deputy Chairman when Werksmans
merged with Jan S. de Villiers in 2009. He is a commercial lawyer who
specialises in financial transactions and was named a recommended lawyer
in Corporate/M&A by PLC Which Lawyer in 2008/9. Pierre has a
BCom LLB from Stellenbosch University, a Graduate Diploma in Tax from
the University of Cape Town and is also a qualified conveyancer and

taxation.

Sandile July has
been a director since 2006. He is a labour law specialist who frequently

and employees at various tribunals. Sandile is a member of the Law
Society of the Northern Province and has a BProc LLB and a Higher
